Professional Life in a Nutshell

As a teenager, I started working at a small company called Multimedia Studio Rolf-Dieter Klein in Munich as a screen designer. After that, I studied communication design at HfG Schwäbisch Gmünd and the University of Arts in Berlin. Still in Berlin, I took on a couple of smaller jobs and eventually started a career at TBWA, a huge creative disruption agency.

I managed to transform myself into a UX expert and moved on to a well-paying but crappy job, before eventually landing a great gig at Thomann – one of Germany's top e-commerce players. With them, I had the opportunity to achieve some amazing things, like building a design team, a product management team, and implementing thousands of tiny and large improvements.

After my time at Thomann, I leaped into the world of freelance UX work, where I now serve clients in various areas, including e-commerce, SaaS, startups, and yes, even Thomann.
